I took this picture in my garden in early April 2018. After a very snowy winter, spring was very late that year - the lake is still ice-covered and there’s a huge amount of snow left. A month later it suddenly got really warm, everything melted and we went on to have one of the warmest, driest summers on record. A summer storm in July sparked forest fires that raged for weeks and devastated thousands of acres. No sign in this picture of what’s to come. Anne Cahling, Ljusdal, Hälsingland
