Skellefteå Pride is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, marking a decade since the inaugural pride festival in the town. Over the years, the festival has become a regular February occurrence, gaining widespread acceptance and support. The organizers have kicked things up a notch in preparation for this special milestone.
The Pride parade tomorrow, Saturday, February 17, remains the focal point of the week.
Skellefteå Pride’s closing festivities at Cinco anticipate a strong turnout. The festival has seen positive attendance in recent years, with staff noting a distinctly enjoyable atmosphere – characterized by warmth, inclusivity, and a mix of ages. The choice of Cinco as the venue for the closing Pridefest adds to the anticipation, with its ample space and excellent facilities contributing to the overall positive experience.
I’ll be there tomorrow. Give me a wave, or a hug, if you see me!
